I’m Katie, I was given the role of Chair, I’ve previously been Chair of BHS East Yorkshire and a BHS Welfare Officer - these roles definitely help with my current role!  I am normally found cheerleading having taken a step back from riding to allow my daughter to get the most from her riding time.  I love seeing people achieve and progress whether their goal is just to get on and give something a go, jumping a raised pole or flying the club flag at area and championships!  I look forward to meeting you at one of our events and I’m always open to member suggestions

My favourite thing about being on the YWRC committee is new people coming along to the club and flourishing and becoming confident, really enjoying their horses and the clinics we put on. It gives me as much pleasure watching our members achieve as it does competing and attending myself. (Secretly it gives me an excuse to avoid housework 😇) So looking forward to seeing what our fledgling club members get up to now we are all established!
